Dealing with Darkness at Christmas
It's a season for celebration and memory making. Christmas is a time of year that is steeped in tradition and for many, time with loved ones and friends. But amidst the joyous chaos, there are those of us who are walking in the shadows of trial, fighting to see the light the Savior's birth provides.
My friends, Bob, Brittany, and Mackenzie Kauflin recorded this song recently. Written by Brittany, it is a wonderfully written piece, pointing to the One who helps and delivers and provides hope amidst the darkness. Please check out Bob's blog post here, and listen to Out of the Depths of Silent Night here.
My prayer is that if you are walking through trial, you would find comfort through these words. Our Savior came to the world to save sinners like you and me, shattering the darkness and bringing light and hope to a weary world. Merry Christmas!
