Do You Need Help Reading Your Bible?

It's mid-year, just over the six-month mark. For many of us, that could mean that our Bible reading plan we started with such gusto on January 1 has long been sitting on our bedside table collecting dust. Maybe you haven't neglected reading Scripture entirely, but when you do open your Bible, it's hard to know where to start or what to read. I've had seasons like that too. Thankfully, friends like C.J. Mahaney have spurred me on to deeper and richer study of the Scripture.

Earlier this week, C.J. posted an article on the Desiring God website about how he has benefited from reading a recently published book written by John Piper entitled, Reading The Bible Supernaturally: Seeing and Savoring the Glory of God in Scripture. As C.J. says, "This book will teach you how to read Scripture in reliance upon God." So, if you need help reading your Bible, grab a cup of coffee and read C.J.'s post found on the Desiring God website here.
