What We Believe

The Sovereign Grace Pastors College is grounded in historic Christian orthodoxy and joyfully affirms the core doctrines of the faith as revealed in Scripture. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God and serves as our final guide for all matters of faith and life.

• We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—perfect in holiness, love, wisdom, and power. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things and sovereignly rules over all for His glory.
• We believe that God created humanity in His image, yet through Adam’s sin, all people are fallen, guilty, and spiritually dead, unable to save themselves and wholly dependent on God’s grace.
• We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitute for sinners, and was raised bodily from the dead. Through His finished work, all who repent of their sins and trust in Him alone are forgiven, justified, and reconciled to God.
• We believe that salvation is entirely by grace, accomplished through the person and work of Christ and applied by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit regenerates, indwells, and sanctifies believers, empowering them for godly living and faithful ministry.
• We believe the church is central to God’s purposes on earth. Through the preaching of the Word, the ordinances, and the care of faithful shepherds, believers are nurtured, equipped, and sent out for the advance of the gospel.
• We affirm God’s sovereign purposes in all things, the ongoing work and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and God’s wise and good design for men and women in the home and in the church.
• We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the everlasting joy of the redeemed in the presence of God.
