With his pen, and inspired by the Spirit, the Apostle Paul gives us a wonderful portrait of the New Testament church: “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19-22) Together! It’s used twice in those 4 verses. The church is joined together in Christ and is being built together in Christ as a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. How glorious then is the theme of our 2026 Pastors & Leaders Conference, “Together in Christ.” It captures God’s grand design for the church, and it captures the purpose of what pastors and leaders ultimately do in serving, caring for, and building their church. The main sessions and specific breakout sessions for our 2026 conference are all designed to equip pastors and local church leaders to continue to build their church together in Christ for His glory alone.
