Sovereign Grace Pastors College

Wives and Family

At the Sovereign Grace Pastors College, we recognize that pastoral ministry is not a solitary calling but one that deeply involves the whole family. We are committed not only to training men for faithful gospel ministry, but also to caring intentionally for their wives and children. Throughout the year, wives are personally encouraged, taught, and shepherded, with meaningful opportunities for fellowship, theological growth, and development in their unique calling as a pastor’s wife. Our desire is that every family leaves strengthened, supported, and more deeply rooted in Christ—equipped to serve the church together with joy and endurance.

Discipleship for Wives

At the Pastors College, we’re committed to equipping your entire family for the role you play in ministry to the church. As a wife, you’ll be personally discipled and encouraged through:

  • Monthly wives’ meetings led by godly women who have spent decades as pastors’ wives and understand the joys and challenges of ministry life.
  • Biblical teaching tailored to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord and support your husband in ministry.
  • One-on-one mentoring and regular pastoral care from women who walk closely with you throughout the year.

You’ll walk away from this year more rooted in the gospel, more confident in your calling, and more deeply connected to other women who are on the same journey.

Lifelong Friendships

The year you spend at the Pastors College is a unique season of life—one that forms deep, lasting relationships:

  • With the other wives in your cohort who will become dear friends and ministry partners for years to come.
  • With other families who are learning, growing, and being shaped alongside you.
  • Within the broader Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville community, where you’ll be warmly welcomed, plugged into church life, and surrounded by people who love and support you.
